Make a Flower Mini Quilt PDF Download and Video Workshop

from £15.00

This is a great project for using up scrap fabrics or old patchwork blocks that are gathering dust on a shelf. The PDF workbook contains full step by step instructions and two flower templates. The templates can be used again and again to create a variety of different flowers by changing colours, fabrics and types of stitching. You can choose to copy the designs or create your own.

The workbook also contains a link to a video where you can make along with Rebekah, pausing and rewinding to sew at your own pace. Rebekah discusses how to choose appropriate fabrics and different ways to adapt the design to create a garden of unique fabric flowers!

This project is designed to be sewn entirely by hand although some people may wish to sew some parts with a machine.

Skills taught in this workshop:

  • Creative pattern placement

  • Hand quilting

  • Decorative embroidery stitches

  • layering a quilt sandwich

  • Knife edge binding

Suitable for beginners and competent sewers alike.

You can also purchase this as part of a bundle with 3 other tutorials.

I thoroughly enjoyed this excellent tutorial, very detailed and fun to make. I am a beginner so was a bit hesitant but I found it easy to follow and it has inspired me to continue exploring stitching, quilting and dyeing techniques. Rebekah’s designs are so beautiful and unique!
