Dappled quilt

Inspired by dappled sunlight observed during woodland walks. Soft out of focus circles and abstract leafy forms. Bold needle turn appliquéd edges contrast with softer raw edges. The naturally crinkled quality of linen is further enhanced by hand quilting: each slow stitch a meditation as is the act of walking.
